Jansom Resort has the longest beachfront of all the resorts on Khao Kwai Beach, though it has just 20 bungalows set into natural forest on the hillside overlooking the beach. There is more elevation than in most other places here, giving good views from most rooms. The bungalows are all wood and thatched roof affairs, basic but comfortable for those not in need of luxury. The bathrooms are quite large, tiled and clean.
Jansom has a pleasant restaurant, also built in wood with a thatched roof. It offers great views over the beach and bay – and the sunsets, which can be spectacular as the sun dips into the Andaman Sea. The beach here is quite attractive, though there are some rocky patches and the water is shallow at low tide. But Jansom is particularly quiet and natural, and ideal for those seeking a really peaceful spot to chill out in.
